Network Security Consultant

Netpoleon Solutions is a well-established IT Security and Network Company recently acquired by Macnica Inc – a US 4 Billion Dollar Revenue company. With offices in Singapore, Australia, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and parent company in Japan and US, we are now inviting individuals that have strong skills and knowledge in IT Security to join us. Joining us, will allow you to embark on an exciting career, as we pursue our strategic expansion.

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm, Mon-Fri
Salary will commensurate with qualification and experiences

Job Title

Network Security Consultant

primary functions

  • Prepare sales presentations and solution demonstrations as well as brand awareness and training events
  • Communicate and work closely with Product Managers regarding prospect enhancement requirements
  • Support prospects through all aspects of product evaluations including maintenance of the demonstration environments
  • Provide technical expertise in the pre-sales process in collaboration with sales team
  • Identify and qualify clients' business and functional requirements in order to obtain initial project estimates, identify solution gaps after gathering clients' requirements and communicate back to product management
  • Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Actively engage prospects and customers in driving the discovery and needs analysis process through consultative interviewing.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to generate proposals to articulate proposed solutions, focusing on the benefits to the client’s business
  • Work with Product Manager to ensure alignment of requirements and manage any change request to ensure resolution.
  • Be aware of industry trends, drivers and regulatory initiatives; understand the competitive offerings and their differentiators in the market, read trade and industry journals to keep abreast of industry thoughts and initiatives.

requirements

  • Degree/Dip with min 2 to 5 years pre-sales consultant experience, preferred from security/electronic/IT industry
  • Proven contract negotiation skills
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Candidates with Gemalto experience/knowledge would have an added advantage
